Materiality identification process

Identifying issues
We identified critical issues for the sustainable development of the KANAMEL Group, society and stakeholders, by taking into account industry trends, market risks and opportunities in the advertising, video production, and consulting industries, as well as various ESG assessments and guidelines.
Prioritizing issues
The Sustainability Committee considered the issues identified in Step 1 from the two perspectives of "importance to the company" (whether they are essential to achieving our corporate purpose of "Making the world a brighter place through the power of creation" and whether they are a resource or an obstacle to the value the KANAMEL Group provides) and "expectations and requests from different stakeholders," (including customers, employees, business partners and creative partners). As a result, the Committee identified 12 particularly important materialities across four categories.
Approval of materialities
The materialities identified in Step 2 were then reported to the KANAMEL's Board of Directors, which proceeded to approve them. Going forward, the Sustainability Committee will monitor all initiatives and KPI progress of each KANAMEL Group company based on these materialities and promote sustainability activities that contribute to the sustainable development of society and stakeholders.
